You may have noticed it's been a long time since I posted here. Very soon I'm transferring this url to tumblr, for the simple reason that tumblr allows me to post from my phone and blogger is pretty ancient and doesn't have these fancy features. So stay tuned, soon you will click on this link and see an unfamiliar page, but it will be consistently updated and filled with funny stuff.

I must bid adieu to blogger which has been good to me for many years. But hey it's the internet and that's how things go. Thanks for the memories, blogger!

Getting down to the wire- two weeks to the National Stationery Show. I'm working on revising cards, finishing my catalog, photography, a new shop, but in the meantime I keep accidentally making new products. Cartoons will be back at the end of May- I miss them too! In the meantime, if anyone has any questions....

A certain petite actress best known for her work as a cynical, wise-cracking waitress on Cheers purchased this print from me last weekend at Artists & Fleas. I was so flustered I was completely unable to make change for a $28. purchase from two twenties. It took me way too long, and she actually had to say "I think it's 12 dollars." We had a nice conversation too, she liked my work!

Making lots of cards these days means I get to turn old cartoons into color images.

Our big news - A Zillion Dollars is heading to the National Stationery Show in NYC in May! We're officially launching to the wholesale market with 85 greeting cards, 104 magnet phrases, and 60 magnet faces, all presented in a gorgeous fashion in a 10x10 booth I design, with a big old catalog too. So I'm spending all my time on this endeavor right now, which means I'll generally be posting reruns or products for a while. But I still think the reruns are funny, and I hope you do too.

I watched an interesting Julie Andrews movie last night, "The Americanization of Emily." It inspired me to dig up this old sketch and make a cartoon in her honor.
