My name is Keira and I work as a publisher with The Rag and Bone Man Press -- a not for profit publishing company based in Melbourne, Australia. We are currently working on a book about mental illness in Australia for release in November 2014. The book will be a compilation of stories, photos and drawings from people who have a mental illness, or who have a relative or friend with a mental illness or may be a carer of a person with a mental illness. The aim of the book is to shine a positive light and decrease the stigma of mental illness in Australia and will hopefully help bring mental illness to the forefront of people's minds.
We are hoping to collect stories and images from all socio-economic, cultural and religious backgrounds to show that mental illness can affect anyone at any time.
We were wondering if you would be interested in us including your drawing above in our book? We would credit you and your website as the artist.
